Advanced Care for Optimal Recovery

Evidence informed advanced treatment techniques combined to help you feel your best.

Advanced Manual Therapy

CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) that have completed extensive post-graduate education and have attained internationally recognized qualifications in hands-on manipulative therapy. We provide focused treatment based on research-guided techniques that speed up patient recovery while educating them about their condition to reduce the risk of relapse.

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise involves movements prescribed to correct impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function and/or maintain a state of well-being

Western Medical Acupuncture

Western medical acupuncture is a therapeutic modality involving the insertion of fine needles; it is an adaptation of Chinese acupuncture using current knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, and the principles of evidence based medicine.

Laser Therapy

Therapeutic lasers expose tissue to light energy (photons) on two wavelengths, triggering a chain of chemical reactions on the cellular level that initiates tissue healing and pain reduction.  Our clinic uses  Theralase’s® patented superpulsed cold laser system, the most scientifically and clinically supported therapeutic medical laser technology on the market.

Custom Orthotics

Orthotics are medical appliances that are inserted into the shoes to effect an alteration in the biomechanical functioning of the foot and the pedal posture, that in turn exerts an influence on the ankle, knee, hip and lower back.

Our chiropodist prescribes and fits custom made orthotics.

Custom Bracing

A specially trained bracing expert will personally measure and fit you. Using DJO Global's advanced proprietary algorithms, a custom-made brace with ultra-strong materials (carbon fibre or titanium) and quality craftsmanship will be made to protect you everywhere you wear it.  So you can rehab, train and play with confidence.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.

Massage therapy should only be provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). An RMT is a primary healthcare provider in Ontario and anyone may visit an RMT of their choice.

Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.
